KERN NFC drive-through scale is a robust and precise industrial weighing solution

designed for fast and efficient weighing of mobile loads such as wire container trolleys, laundry carts, pallet trucks, roll cages, and waste bins. Thanks to its low-profile design and integrated ramps, it allows for easy access and smooth workflows.

Technical Features

• Weighing Platform: Made from non-slip steel tread plate, equipped with four silicone-coated steel load cells. The entire construction is dust and splash water protected to IP67 standard.
• Weighing Capacity: Available in models ranging from 600 kg up to 1500 kg, depending on your operational requirements.
• Readability: Depending on the model, the readability is either 0.2 kg or 0.5 kg.
• Platform Dimensions: Example model NFC 1.5T-4LM has dimensions of 1800 × 1420 × 95 mm.
• Indicator: Comes with the KERN KFC-TM display unit offering user-friendly operation and extensive connectivity options.
• IoT Integration: Features the KERN Universal Port (KUP), enabling networking and Industry 4.0 compatibility. Optional KUP extension boxes support up to 3 simultaneous interfaces.
• Real-Time Clock: Integrated RTC ensures time-stamped weight data logging – even after power loss.
• Power Supply: Standard power adapter included. Optional battery operation available.
• Interfaces (optional): RS-232, USB, Bluetooth 4.0, WLAN, analog output, Ethernet/LAN – all available as options.

• Counting Function: Counts units based on individual piece weight.
• Percentage Weighing: Displays weight as a percentage of a reference value.
• Animal Weighing Mode: Stabilizes the result when weighing restless loads (e.g. animals or moving trolleys).
• Totalizing Function: Adds up multiple weighing results.
• Limit Value Function: Allows setting upper and lower thresholds, useful for dosing or sorting.
• Calibration Program: Ensures ongoing accuracy and compliance.
